BLACK MAMBA V2 by NEO is a high-quality power cable developed by Oyaide for professional audio and Hi-Fi applications.
As the successor to the original BLACK MAMBA, the V2 version retains its proven cable construction while introducing Oyaide’s precision 102 SSC copper conductors.
With a large 3.5 mm² conductor cross-section, excellent electrical performance and a current capacity of up to 20 A, BLACK MAMBA V2 is an excellent choice for building high-quality power cables for amplifiers, preamplifiers, DACs, source components and professional studio equipment.

OYAIDE 102 SSC Precision Copper Conductors
For the Live and Neutral conductors, BLACK MAMBA V2 uses Oyaide’s proprietary 102 SSC precision copper.
Only high-quality virgin copper is used in its production, without recycled copper.
The surface of each copper strand undergoes a special precision peeling process to remove surface impurities and improve conductor smoothness.
The conductors also undergo two annealing processes to reduce mechanical stress, while extremely precise manufacturing tolerances are maintained.
102 SSC achieves a conductivity of approximately 102.3% IACS.
3.5 mm² Conductors
BLACK MAMBA V2 uses large 3.5 mm² conductors.
Each main conductor consists of:
45 × 0.32 mm strands
The large conductor cross-section provides low electrical resistance and allows the cable to handle currents of up to 20 A.
The Live and Neutral conductors use 102 SSC copper, while the Earth conductor is made from OFC copper.
High-Polymer Polyolefin Insulation
The conductors are insulated with high-polymer polyolefin.
This material has a significantly lower dielectric constant than conventional PVC and helps reduce dielectric loss.
Flex PE fillers are positioned between the conductors to improve mechanical stability and help suppress unwanted vibration.
Copper Foil Shield
BLACK MAMBA V2 features a copper foil shield surrounding the internal conductors.
A separate drain wire is incorporated to simplify proper shield termination.
The shielded construction provides effective protection against external electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference.
Halogen-Free Outer Sheath
The outer sheath has been specially developed for audio applications and uses a halogen-free material.
It provides excellent mechanical protection while also helping to control vibration within the cable.
The overall diameter of BLACK MAMBA V2 is 11.8 mm.
