With its aggressive sound and high performance, TUNAMI was a milestone in the history of power cables.
In 2013, with the end of supply of PCOCC-A conductor, the first generation “TUNAMI” was unintentionally discontinued.
However, in 2014, “TUNAMI V2” inherited the life of the original “TUNAMI” with the precision conductor “102 SSC”.
In order to inherit the concept of the first generation model, the structure of “TUNAMI V2” is the same as the first generation model. It has been thoroughly refined with the 102 SSC precision conductor, giving it a new look and feel.

TUNAMI GPX-Re V2 embodies an ideal fusion of State-of-Art technology and craftsmanship. It equipped with P/C-004e special edition plug.
It provides high power transmission of 600V maximum 30 amps withstand voltage and aggressive response.
Short-pitch stranded wire twisted at 1.15 times the normal tension eliminates random gaps in the conductor and suppresses sound quality degradation caused by wire-to-wire distortion.
We also paid close attention to the adhesion rate between the insulator and conductor. The insulator and conductor are evenly adhered to each other, eliminating random gaps and degradation of sound quality caused by interline distortion.
Polymeric polyolefin with excellent electrical characteristics is used for the insulation coating of the conductor.
Compared to ordinary PVC insulation, it has an extremely low dielectric constant of 1/4, which reduces signal loss and produces a less muddy reproduction sound.

The “Aspirin Snow White” outer cover is specially produced for the TUNAMI GPX-Re V2.
It is made from thick Polycarbonate which strength and hardness attenuate small vibrations at high speed with no added distortion due to its superior rigidity.
In order to maximize the potential of the TUNAMI power cable, the contact is modified from phosphor bronze to beryllium copper that insures the higher level of mechanical integrity and electric conductivity. And also a combination of platinum and palladium is employed as well as P/C-004e. The thickness of the plating is optimally-adjusted for the TUNAMI GPX-Re V2.
