“TUNAMI” has broken new ground in the world of power cables with its high power transmission using an ultra-thick 5.5sq. conductor (≈10AWG) and strict 3-layer sealing.

With its aggressive sound and high performance, TUNAMI was a milestone in the history of power cables.

In 2013, with the end of supply of PCOCC-A conductors, the first generation “TUNAMI” was unintentionally discontinued.

However, in 2014, “TUNAMI V2” inherited the life of the original “TUNAMI” with the Oyaide’s own precision conductor “102 SSC”.

In order to inherit the concept of the first generation model, the structure of “TUNAMI V2” is the same as the first generation model. It has been thoroughly refined with the 102SSC precision conductor, giving it a new look and feel.

“102SSC” – Oyaide Electric Precision Conductor

• To avoid impurities as much as possible, only virgin copper that does not contain any recycled copper is used in accordance with JIS C1011.
• Peeling process is applied to remove 100% of impurities attached to the surface.
• In order to facilitate the flow of electrical signals through the surface layer of the conductor, the strand is made finer using a natural diamond die to improve the surface smoothness of the strand.
• The stranded wire is processed with a processing accuracy of ±1μm, far exceeding the standard error tolerance of ±8μm.
• Two annealing processes are used to eliminate mechanical stress distortions in the strands.

The first layer is an electromagnetic wave absorber, the second layer is a carbon layer, and the third layer is a copper foil.
