High-Quality DC Plug for Audio Applications
The OYAIDE DC-2.1G is a high-quality DC power plug developed specifically for audio applications.
Designed with Oyaide’s expertise in materials, plating and vibration-resistant connector construction, the DC-2.1G is ideal for building custom DC power cables or upgrading the DC plug of an existing AC adapter.
The connector uses a 5.5 × 2.1 mm plug size, widely used in audio equipment, DACs, digital devices, guitar effects and other DC-powered equipment.
High-Quality Construction
The DC-2.1G is machined from high-quality RoHS-compliant brass.
The plug body features a 24K gold-plated finish, while the brass outer cover uses Oyaide’s durable Verichrome plating.
The internal insulator is made from POM (polyacetal) with a heat resistance of up to 110°C.
Cable connection is made by soldering.
Adjustable Plug Length
Different equipment may use DC sockets with different insertion depths.
To improve compatibility, the DC-2.1G is supplied with three silicone spacer rings.
By adding or removing the rings, the effective plug length can be adjusted to four different positions:
9.5 mm / 11 mm / 12.5 mm / 14 mm
This allows the connector to be adapted to a wide range of DC sockets.
