Description

The Oyaide MWA-EC is a set of MWA (Magnetic Wave Absorber) cover caps designed to seal unused AC outlet holes on power strips or wall receptacles. These caps not only block dust, but more importantly, they absorb airborne electromagnetic noise, dampen vibration, and help stabilize the electrical environment around your power distribution system.

Basic

The original Magnetic Wave Absorber, MWA series, was released in 2009 and become very popular for its sure effect against noise generated by electric magnetic wave around equipment.

MWA-EC created by the develpment that we applied this MWA material on the top of receptacle cap for preventing EMA, noise and dust altogether with very easy usage which just plug it into the receptacle hole.

Features

Flat metal powder of SENDUST alloy

In the MWA electric wave absober pasted on the top MWA-EC, the material called SENDUST alloy which has strong noise absorbing property is mixed into as powder. This metal was develped in Sendai, Japan in 1930’s, is composed of Al, Fe, SiO2. And it is processed into flat shape powder which has higher absorbing propaty against electiric magnetic wave.
We achieved to maximize its property by laying down the powder evenly and parallelly on its base material which is made of special rubber of polyethylene

「MWA-EC」 can be installed by simply pushing into the receptacle. The hardness controled pins help for damping the tiny vibrations of the contacts. And the electric magnetic wave absorber contribute to attenuate noise generated by power signal flow. In addition, it is absolutely effective to prevent incorporation of dust and humidity which causes degradation of contacts and troubles of connection.
